DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Filomena Salvemini (ANSTO)\n\nThe application of sci
 ence and technology to the characterization and the conservation of herita
 ge materials has significantly increased over the last decades. Due to the
  manifold nature and the value of artefact of cultural heritage significan
 ce\, studies in archaeometry require a transdisciplinary approach as well 
 as the use of non-invasive multiple analytical techniques. \nToday ANSTO
 ’s large suite of capabilities and expertise is available for cultural h
 eritage research. In order to promote access by cultural institution and r
 esearchers to the unique range of nuclear methods available across ANSTO
 ’s campuses\, a strategic scientific research project on Cultural Herita
 ge was initiated in 2015. \nThis paper will showcase how neutron methods h
 ave been successfully applied in a series of forensic investigations condu
 cted in close collaboration with Australian and international museums\, in
