DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Kelly Cubbin (ANSTO)\n\nThe impacts of climate chang
 e place an enormous burden on ecosystems and landscapes from mountains and
  deserts\, to lakes\, rivers\, and coasts and oceans. This FNCA project fo
 cuses on the application of nuclear and isotopic techniques to identify an
 d date past ecosystem\, landscape and climate changes.\n\nThe first coordi
 nation meeting aims to gain an understanding of what and how techniques ar
 e being applied in the region\, address key questions and knowledge gaps\,
  identify areas of overlap and the potential for new initiatives. It will 
 run over three and a half days and include talks and poster presentations 
 by participating countries and invited Australian researchers working in t
 he region\, a tour of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organi
 sation (ANSTO) facilities\, and opportunities for small group discussions 
 by theme and/or region. A report summarising the meeting and plan for the 
 remainder of the project will be produced\, and a scientific publication i
 ncluding a review of the current state of knowledge\, key questions and ga
